Cuesona checks sentence options for basic format, repetition, selected concepts, pronoun direction, and clear negation before showing them. Suggestions stay optional from start to finish.

Offline behavior depends on browser and device support. The local neural voice must download once before it can be reused offline; installed voices vary by device.

Camera and listening stay user-initiated.
The camera stays off until you start it and take a picture. Listening starts only when you choose it. Provider-backed analysis and transcription need a connection.

What is Cuesona?
Cuesona is an augmentative and alternative communication workspace for building and speaking complete messages. It combines a familiar board and keyboard with contextual vocabulary, saved phrases, and optional sentence choices.
Is Cuesona a traditional communication board?
It includes a core board, but the board is not the only way to reach words. Cuesona also surfaces words related to the current message, provides a searchable vocabulary, supports typing, and keeps saved phrases nearby.
Can Cuesona keep working without an internet connection?
If the protected workspace is already open, the board, keyboard, saved local workspace, contextual words, and core sentence choices can continue through a connection drop. An installed voice can remain available when supported, and the local neural voice works offline after its voice pack downloads. Signing in or reloading the protected workspace still requires a connection.
Do I have to use sentence or word suggestions?
No. Both can be turned off independently. You can continue with the board, vocabulary search, keyboard, quick phrases, and your selected speech option.
When does communication data leave my device?
Core word and sentence suggestions run in your browser. When sentence suggestions are enabled, the app is online, and fewer than four local choices are available, composer text and related words may be sent to the configured AI provider. Recorded audio, a captured image, a drawing, or text for cloud speech is sent only when you use the corresponding feature. Your account stores preferences and saved phrases. Settings lets you export saved phrases or reset your preferences and saved phrases.
Is a subscription required?
Yes. Creating an account continues to Stripe checkout for the configured paid subscription. You can review the current price before entering payment.
